The 2007 Mojave Desert Racing (MDR) Superstition Off-Road Racing Series virtually owns the Yuha Desert Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Area of Plaster City, California. Now organized and sanctioned by MDR, the Superstition Series owes its legendary existence to a dear friend of off-road desert racers upon dirt bikes, ATV, trucks and buggies. Fud Pucker died several years back and was a highly genuine individual and highly devoted to his friends, his racers. Known for jumping with joy and wildly waving the checkered flag at the finish of his races, he would follow his racers such races as the Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250, Tecate SCORE Baja 500 and Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, often waiting long hours well into the night to congratulate them for a finish. He was eager to listen to their story and transmit it throughout the various media outlets in an effort to help promote them and their race efforts.
