We should be protected from the light wind on Saturday but will be up-wind from the race course and away from dust.

The camp is 100 yards from the high-tension, gigavolt powerlines which is safe from arc-over hazards for our radio antennas.

GPS Coordinates for camp = 34 36 17 N,  116 14 08 W

We will be leaving LAS at Noon on Friday. We will take the Northside rd of off 247 to Camp Rock rd.

Directions for FCC Dave:

    * I-15 from La to Victorville, off at Bear Valley Road.
    * West (right) on Bear Valley Rd (12.5 miles Total) to Intersection of Highway 18
    * West (right) on Highway 18 to Lucerne Valley, CA (23 miles tota, leg = 10.5 miles)
          o Stay straight (west), go past intersection of Highway 247 (23.3 miles total, leg = .3 miles)
          o You will now be on Highway 247 "Old Woman Springs Rd" , proceed west Camp Rock Road (total 28.31 miles, leg = 5 miles)
    * North (right) on Camp Rock Rd. Proceed north to Intersection (32.3 miles total, leg = 4 miles)
          o Take road that veers off to the north east, this is Camp Rock Rd. Proceed to intersection nearMain Pit/Start-Finish/Contingency area ( 38.3 miles total, leg = 6 miles)
          o Keep going straight to scissors intersection of Powerline Road (42.08 miles, leg = 3.8 miles)
          o Take shallow right turn onto road at Scissors Intersection and proceed east to road crossing of race course (total miles = 42.75, leg = .67 miles)
    * Camp will be due south 100 yards from powerlines on south side of powerline road.
