Shane Esposito teamed with "Big" Dave Pearson to lay down an early lead for the overall victory at this years 2008 Best In The Desert Parker 250 desert off-road race. With relatively little competition, since the factory Honda team severed its off-road racing budget, eliminating its effort in the BITD series, two of the fastest men in the desert had little competition amid the pro ranks aboard their Factory KTM 530 XC, logging a time of four hours, 34 minutes and 40 after completing three 74-mile laps.
Dylan Lane teamed with Jeff Trulove for a second overall (4:42:55) and second in open pro. Anthony Modica teamed with Jason Trubey to take third overall and first four stroke (4:45:38).
In the ATV division, Wayne Matclock combined forces with Harold Goodman aboard the American Honda TRX450R to earn the win by over 15 minutes (5:04:51). American Honda, Precision Concepts, Alba, Maxxis,
Elka, Moose, Div Four, IMS, IMS-ROLL, Roll Design, Douglas Wheels, Tire Balls, AC Racing, Honda Pro Oils and Laeger's supported the pro quad effort.
David Scott and Jeremy Sanchez teamed to take second overall in the ATV divisino (5:16:48). Javier Robles and Adolfo Arellano earned third overall (5:19:43).
